RMU Yard – JP Industries successfully completed the design, fabrication, and installation of a structural steel platform known as the RMU Yard, located outside of the building in Hyderabad, with a total height of 40 meters.
Overview & Challenge
This project involved constructing a tall external platform structure to support RMU (Ring Main Unit) equipment, critical for power distribution. Key challenges included working at a height of 40 meters, ensuring structural stability against wind and environmental loads, and integrating the platform with the existing infrastructure—all while maintaining strict safety and quality standards on an active site.
Solution & Results
JP Industries delivered a custom-engineered solution, fabricating the high-strength steel structure off-site and executing the installation with precision and advanced safety protocols. The RMU Yard platform was successfully erected on schedule, providing a robust and accessible support system for critical electrical infrastructure.
